Across design, research, education, speaking, and art, my work explores one enduring question: How do we live together?

 As a professional, I am a senior enterprise strategy leader with more than 20 years of experience driving design and research, including product-led growth (most recently for AI and AI agents), experimentation strategy, and enterprise-scale UX. I have led work at companies such as Microsoft and Google, as well as other Fortune 100 organizations, and have consulted with boutique design studios and nonprofit organizations, including the Gates Foundation.

I accomplish my work through inclusive, data-driven, and pluriversal design practices. My expertise spans transition design, systems thinking, social design, design management, design strategy, design research, UX design, UX research, brand communications, Inclusive Design, Inclusive Research, and pluriversal design. I currently serve as Director of Research, leading a research organization within a Fortune 100 technology company.

As a researcher, I design tools that enable communities to "recommon" resources that are essential to their survival. I have worked with diverse collectives to better understand how they can intervene in complex social dilemmas and build more sustainable futures.

As an educator, I engage with theories and pedagogy related to alternative economics, pluriversal design, decoloniality, and technological innovation that explores how we live together. I have taught design at the undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels for more than a decade.

As a speaker, I have been invited to share my perspective on podcasts, deliver commencement addresses, lead workshops, and give keynote talks at conferences around the world. My work explores both the opportunities and the challenges of technological innovation. Topics I have spoken on include design-enabled recommoning, designers as allies, pluriversal design, alternative economics, design thinking, design for social innovation, diversity and inclusion in UX, commons and commoning, decoloniality, transition design, allyship, and algorithmic bias. I have also contributed chapters to six books.

As an artist, my paintings explore how we live together. Something I call the politics of togetherness. I use color boldly and simply to create a luminous sense of melancholia, inviting viewers into a deeper experience of our shared humanity and the presence of the spiritual.
